Post Maternity/Pregnancy
If you think that what is only important is the period during pregnancy, then you are definitely wrong. There are also some things that you need to understand after maternity.
What Are the Things Needed to Do After Giving Birth?
The first thing that you need to do after giving birth takes care of yourself. CS moms need to take care of their wounds. Usually, this is the difficult part of CS moms compared to those who delivered their children via normal delivery. In the cleaning of the wound, you will be needing an antiseptic that is effective in disinfecting the wound. You must choose the spray one because it is very easy to apply.
Other than physical taking care, you also need to take care of your emotions. Not only you but your family members, too, must support you as you make the journey after giving birth. These are the usual attitude of a woman who has just given birth:
- Emotional – Usually, women who have just given birth are emotional. They easily get sad and even cry at a very petty thing.
- Depressed – If the woman continues to be sad for a period of two weeks, uninterrupted, then you better bring her to a psychologist because that is a manifestation of depression.
Post-Partum Depression
The truth is that post-partum depression happened when the mother got easily irritated with the cry of her child. Instead of taking care of the baby, they got easily irritated, and worse, and they may even hurt the child. When that happens, you need to be confined at a mummy psychology clinic, and you will be monitored there if there is an improvement in your behavior. If there is an improvement, you will be released from there after completing medication. On the other hand, your food to be taken must also be monitored. It means you must avoid foods that may trigger depression. If there is no improvement at all, or if your condition worsens, then the next step is bringing you to a psychiatric hospital. You will be given proper medication there until you will be fine.
Vitamins to Take After Giving Birth
Once you are released from the hospital, you need to complete at least one month of ferrous sulfate, and you stabilize your blood flow. It is because during delivery, you lost a lot of blood in your body, and you need to bring back the healthy blood in your body, and that is through the vitamins known as Ferrous Sulfate.
Another vitamin that you need to take is calcium. If you are wondering why, for what purpose does the calcium exist? The truth is that the calcium that you have taken when you are pregnant was already transferred to your kid. It means you have lost calcium during delivery. If you do not take calcium, your hair may fall, your teeth may as well fall, and your bone may be affected too.
Those are the things needed after your pregnancy.
