Usually, it happens during the time that you and your husband are planning to build a family of your own.  You do the calendar method because that is the most effective way of planning a child. How to do it? The process is just so easy. You need to count from day 1 to 9 starting from the day of your first menstruation. That period is safe, which means you can have sexual intercourse, and you cannot get impregnated. From day 10 to day 19, that is your fertile period wherein once you have sexual intercourse with your husband, you will surely get impregnated, particularly if you had the said sexual intercourse on the 10th, 11th, and 12th day. Then the last one is from day 20 to 30, again this is the safe period, and you cannot get impregnated.

What Are the Things Needed to Plan for Pregnancy?

Regarding the lifestyle, you need to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle if you want to get pregnant. The first one is eliminating bad habits that you usually indulge in. It includes smoking and alcoholism. Another one is that you will be advised to go visit your OB-Gyne in order for you to be advised on the vitamins needed during the entire duration of your pregnancy. The first one might be folic acid in order to aid the development of the baby’s brain and limbs.

Another one is calcium in order for you to have a healthy baby, with strong bones and teeth. Hair also is one of the body parts that are being helped by the calcium supplement. Then another one is ferrous sulfate because it aids with the proper blood flow both of you and your baby. 

But if you want to just prepare yourself for a possible pregnancy, then you need to go to the gym and exercise and aim to have a good shape. It is because women that are fat could hardly get impregnated. On the other hand, the women who are in good shape usually have a great chance of getting impregnated.

What Are the Things Needed to Do During Pregnancy?

The first thing that you need to do during pregnancy is to take care of your body. Eat healthy foods and avoid eating fatty foods because there is a great chance of gaining weight because the fatty foods that are stored inside your body cannot be burned since you are not exercising. So, the best thing for you to do is to eat healthy foods and drink a lot of water in order to avoid dehydration and constipation.

Probably you may try the kind of class designed for expectant mothers. There, you are taught how to carry your child properly, what to feed and what not to feed them, and how to put them to sleep.

How to Overcome Pregnancy Stress?

If you are working and your working environment is stressful, then you better take a vacation or leave in order for you to avoid the stressors.
